TRAC Intermodal POP Transition to TPSP Neutral Pool

Beginning today, July 1, 2026, chassis operations in the San Pedro Bay will change as TRAC Intermodal has transitioned from Pool of Pools (POP) to the new TPSP Neutral Pool.

Where to return a TRAC Intermodal POP chassis:
TRAC Intermodal is pleased to offer a $75.00 credit* for each TRAC Intermodal POP chassis (identified with a “TPSP” marking) that is returned to Harbor Plaza.
Alternatively, TRAC Intermodal POP chassis may be returned to any legacy POP start/stop location (but no credit will apply).

TRAC Intermodal POP chassis may not be returned to Pier S or Pier B.

TRAC Intermodal POP chassis have the following “TPSP” marking:

Only TRAC chassis with this marking are eligible for the credit.

How to earn the $75.00 Credit:
Only TRAC Intermodal chassis with the “TPSP” marking are eligible for the credit.

If you still have a TRAC Intermodal POP chassis (a chassis with a TPSP” marking) on or after July 1^st:
- Billing will terminate when you in-gate to a legacy POP start/stop location
- Once the container has been removed from the chassis, return the bare chassis to Harbor Plaza. The $75.00 will be automatically earned upon in-gate.
If you pick up a TRAC Intermodal POP chassis (a chassis with a “TPSP” marking”) at a legacy POP start/stop on or after July 1^st:
- Billing will follow TPSP Neutral Pool chassis rules
  - You will be billed for all moves unless pulling a box for a TRAC Intermodal SSL CH move, linked here.
- Once the container has been removed from the chassis, return the bare chassis to Harbor Plaza. The $75.00 will be automatically earned upon in-gate.

* TRAC Intermodal will monitor Harbor Plaza in-gates daily to validate returns that qualify for the credit. You do not need to take any additional action. All credits will appear on your regular billing statements. Credits may not be redeemed for cash.

Where to pick up a TPSP Neutral Pool chassis:
All TPSP neutral pool chassis are available for pick up only from Pier S or Pier B.

TRAC Intermodal directly bills the following SSLs: COSCO, Evergreen, Hede International Shipping, Iris Logistics, Jin Jiang, Lihua Shipping, OOCL, Schulte & Bruns, SM Lines, T.S. Lines, Wan Hai, Yang Ming and ZIM. Use for non‑TRAC SSL containers is billed to the motor carrier.

Note: TRAC Intermodal also operates SCTP (Evergreen), TZEP (ZIM), and CFPP (CMA‑CGM) private pools.
