TRAC Intermodal is the leading marine chassis pool manager and equipment provider, with 11 pools under management across the U.S. and the largest fleet of marine and specialty chassis in North America. Through a robust quality fleet care program, TRAC ensures top quality, road-ready chassis are available to customers in all intermodal markets. TRAC offers 40′, 20′ and 40-45′ marine chassis throughout its extensive network of marine pools in all the major intermodal markets.

Northeast Region

TRAC Intermodal
TRAC Metro Pool

TRAC's Metro Pool is the largest intermodal chassis pool in the region with over 17,000 chassis and an extensive footprint covering the marine terminals within the Port of NY/NJ, Philadelphia and Baltimore, as well as western New York State.

More than 55% of TRAC’s Metro Pool chassis fleet has been upgraded with new or BlueEdge chassis, making this fleet one of the most modern and reliable in the region.

TMEP - TRAC Marine Eastern Pool
TRAC Marine Eastern Pool offers the most extensive footprint in the Chicago Ohio Valley and the Memphis/Nashville markets. With close to 40 start/stop locations and 25,000 chassis fleet, TMEP is the leading pool supporting intermodal needs in the region.
TRAC also contributes chassis to the MCCP pool in the Memphis/Nashville market.

TRAC's "white glove" chassis pool offers a wide range of premium and specialty chassis, with start/stop locations just minutes from terminals in Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and Memphis.

Midwest Region

TMMP - TRAC Marine Midwest Pool
TRAC Marine Midwest Pool (TMMP) supports the Omaha, Kansas City & St. Louis markets in the Midwest region. TMMP offers the most extensive footprint of start/stop locations at all major rails and container yards.
TMWP - TRAC Marine Western Pool
TRAC Marine Western Pool (TMWP) supports the Minneapolis/St. Paul and Chippewa, WI markets.

TRAC also contributes chassis to the MWCP co-op pool in Kansas City & St. Louis markets.

Gulf Region

TGRP – TRAC Gulf Regional Pool

TRAC Gulf Regional Pool offers the largest and most modern fleet of chassis in the Gulf market. With close to 30 start/stop locations and more than 20,000 chassis, it is the leading pool in Houston, Dallas, Mobile, New Orleans and El Paso as well as other markets. TGRP chassis are constantly updated to new or fully-refurbished premium equipment featuring LED lights and OEM tires to meet the rigorous and specialized needs of our customers in this region.

Mountain Region

TMWP - TRAC Marine Western Pool
TRAC Marine Western Pool offers chassis solutions in the Salt Lake City and Denver markets supporting key rail terminals in the Mountain region. With a total of 7 start/stop locations and container chassis yards and close to 2000 chassis fleet, TMWP supports key ocean carriers, BCO's and drayage communities in the region.
TRAC also contributes chassis to the DCCP co-op pool in both markets.

TNCP - TRAC Northern California Pool
TRAC’s Northern California Pool supports the Oakland Marine Terminals through strategically positioned start/stop locations. Over 85% of TRAC's chassis fleet has been rebranded, allowing for easier identification.

TRAC operates a Service Center in the Oakland market to provide chassis maintenance and repair, ensuring highest equipment quality and availability. The Oakland service center also serves as a supply point for TRAC's safety stock.

Southern California Region

TPSP - TRAC Pacific Southwest Pool
TRAC Pacific Southwest Pool is part of the Pool of Pools (PoP), a multi-pool agreement between the major marine container chassis pools operating in the San Pedro Basin port complex. Offering over 23,000 chassis and 17 Start/Stop locations, TPSP is well positioned and committed to provide our customers in the LA/LB market with high quality equipment and superior customer support.

TRAC also operates a SCTP private pool for Evergreen containers originating from and returning to Everport Terminals Services in LA, a TZEP (TRAC ZIM Expedited Pool) for the new ZIM eCommerce Xpress ("ZEX") service at West Basin Container Terminal (WBCT), as well as CFPP private pool for CMA-CGM.

Pacific Northwest Region
