James Wyper is the Senior Managing Director, Head of U.S. Private Equity and Head of Transportation & Logistics at Stonepeak.

Prior to joining Stonepeak, James was a member of Credit Suisse’s Global Energy group, where he focused on the power and renewables sectors.

James received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University.

Michael Burton

MEDLOG Transport & Logistics

Michael Burton, USA President at MEDLOG Transport & Logistics, joined the company following the merger of C&K Holdings Acquisition and MEDLOG.

Previously, he served as President and CEO of C&K Holdings Acquisition, where he led the merger effort. Before that, he was Vice President and Division Head of Commercial Lending at LaSalle Bank N.A., advising middle‑market companies on financial strategy. He remains active in several industry groups today.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Northwestern University.

Steve Golich

President & Chief Executive Officer,
Alliance Shippers

Steven Golich is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Alliance Shippers.

Steven joined Alliance Shippers in 1998 as Vice President of Special Projects and went on to hold senior roles including Regional Vice President, Executive Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all company operations before becoming President and CEO. Before Alliance, he led two mid‑sized transportation companies and has served on the BNSF customer advisory board, the Ryder Logistics Carrier advisory board, and in an advisory role with TRAC Intermodal.

 

Steven earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.

Vince Paperiello

Executive Vice President & Group President of Transportation,
STG Logistics

Vince Paperiello is the Executive Vice President and Group President of Transportation at STG Logistics.

He started at STG in 2024 as the Senior Vice President, Intermodal Operations before his promotion 2025 to his current position. Before STG, Vince held roles as a Senior Logistics executive with thirty years of experience in intermodal transportation, truckload brokerage, dedicated trucking and single-source logistics.

Vince earned his Bachelor of Art degree in History from Western Illinois University and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business.

Don Ingersoll

Chief Operating Officer,
RoadOne IntermodaLogistics

Don Ingersoll is the Chief Operating Officer at RoadOne IntermodaLogistics.

Before RoadOne, Don held several senior executive positions including President of Roehl Transport, Vice President of Transportation at XPO Logistics, Inc., and Vice President of Operations at J.B. Hunt.

Don earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership at Purdue University and holds a Master of Science in Transportation Management from the University of Denver.

Michael Knight

General Manager,
Larry’s Cartage Co. Inc.

Michael Knight is the General Manager of Larry’s Cartage Co. Inc., D.B.A. LD and part of the USMMG portfolio, starting at the company in 1998.
 
Previously, he served as District Manager for Judge and Dolph (now Breakthru Beverage). Following USMMG’s acquisition of Larry’s, he remained with the company as General Manager. In 2023, Larry’s merged with Denton Cartage to form LD, where he has helped drive significant growth, expanding the fleet from 60 to more than 70 drivers in the past year. Under his leadership, LD continues to strengthen its position as a leading carrier in the Chicago market. Larry’s Cartage was named the 2024 Trucker of the Year by Evergreen.
 
Michael studied Business and Accounting at Illinois State University and the University of Illinois Chicago.

Tom Bennett

Head of FCL / Trade Management, Americas,
DHL Global Forwarding

Tom Bennett is the Head of FCL / Trade Management, Americas at DHL.

Previously, Tom spent over 15 years with CMA CGM where he held several positions including Senior Vice President, Landside Operations.

Tom earned his degree in Bachelor of Science in Marketing at Methodist University, holds a Graduate degree in Intermodal Transportation from the University of Denver and has a LEAD Certificate from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.

Zach Bayer

Managing Director,
Genesis Intermodal Services

Zach Bayer is the Managing Director at Genesis Intermodal Services.

He first joined the company as Terminal Manager in 2015, returned as Vice President of Sales in 2023, and was promoted to Managing Director in 2025 for his strong commercial leadership. He previously built broad experience across logistics, operations, and commercial roles with Red Bull, Stallion Oilfield Services, Forward Air Corporation, and Phoenix Management throughout Texas.

Zach earned his degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Technology at the University of Houston.

Brook Hartzog

Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer,
Florida East Coast Railway

Brook Hartzog is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Florida East Coast Railway.

Brook began his railroad career with Norfolk Southern in roles ranging from brakeman and conductor to trainer, HR staff, locomotive engineer, and yardmaster, ultimately advancing into leadership positions including Road Foreman of Engines, Trainmaster, Assistant Terminal Superintendent, and Terminal Superintendent. In 2010, Brook joined Florida East Coast Railway in Jacksonville, where he has since served in several transportation leadership positions.

Brook earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with double minors in Physics and Chemistry at Georgia College & State University, and Depaul University.
