PoolStat®

PoolStat® is our proprietary internet-based chassis management software. PoolStat® was developed over an eleven year period, and continues to evolve to meet today’s ever changing logistics needs of ocean and domestic freight operations. PoolStat® currently has over 1,300 registered users involving a variety of contracts with shipping lines, motor carriers, ocean terminals and railroads.

PoolStat® manages some of the country’s largest cooperative chassis pools where shipping lines share their chassis at ocean terminals and rail ramps for greater efficiency. PoolStat® keeps track of usage by the contributing parties, requirements for repositioning chassis, maintenance and repair, and many other processes. It offers hundreds of reports to pool managers, equipment managers, logistics staff, and M&R staff.

PoolStat® is also used by customers to track company chassis fleets under separate contracts. Shipping lines can use PoolStat® as an extension of their own equipment control department. It gives a window into a line’s chassis activity and usage patterns that are often not available with internal container based systems. PoolStat® receives tracking data electronically from over 500 locations every day, making it a valuable resource for finding lost chassis. No other database of chassis exists in such a form, where over 90% of all chassis in the United States show activity.
