Chassis Pools
TRAC Intermodal™ has the largest network of neutral chassis pools in the country. We have more than 70,000 chassis offered to customers on a per trip basis, covering both domestic and marine chassis requirements. We have three major networks of locations for marine chassis: one in the NY/NJ, Philadelphia, and Baltimore metropolitan regions, one in the Gulf region, and a network of Midwest Intermodal rail terminals throughout Chicago and the Ohio Valley. Customers can pick up and drop off marine chassis at various locations throughout each region. We also have an extensive nationwide neutral pool program for 53’ chassis with exclusive pool offerings on CSX and Burlington Northern Santa Fe ramps, and strong coverage at many Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, Kansas City Southern, and Florida East Coast Intermodal terminal facilities.
